Dundee Flood Scheme

Dundee Flood Wall

Through the formation of the Scottish Stone Group, alongside Tradstocks and Hutton Stone, Denfind Stone has managed to secure it’s largest ever contract with the new flood defense wall currently being constructed along the Riverside in Dundee. Our local newspaper, the Courier, ran a feature on the story, highlighting the use of local businesses for local projects, and the additional employment of staff within our processing facility. ¬†Click on the link for the full article. Expansion at Denfind Stone

Meet the new, larger Production Team at Denfind Stone!

Over the last year Denfind Stone has experienced further strong growth in the demand for its Angus sandstone leading to the recruitment of several additional members of staff.

The business has recently recruited 5 new members of staff principally to work in the production unit increasing the total workforce of the business to 17 staff, all local people!

Denfind Stone is currently mid way through an exciting and significant investment programme in new plant and machinery, including guillotines and saws to increase the production capacity and range of products which can be offered to our clients.

As well as quarrying and processing Angus sandstone from our quarry at Monikie the business is increasingly sourcing a range of other Scottish stones including granite, limestone and other sandstones to process and satisfy the broadening needs of our growing client base. As well as producing a range of cladding stones for residential and commercial projects Denfind can also supply walling stone and flagstones.

The environmental and economic benefits of buying local stone are clear to see.

At Denfind we are delighted to be providing a truly Scottish solution to the Scottish market and enabling the business to reinvest locally by employing more local workers.
