Welcome to Denfind Stone
The Home of Angus Sandstone
Denfind Stone is an award-winning, Scottish company dedicated to sourcing and promoting quality, sustainable building materials developed from Angus sandstone and other quality stone types.
In 2004, Brian and Alison Binnie reopened the 19th century Pitairlie Quarry to restore the Angus sandstone industry that once supplied superior stone across the world. The business has expanded to become one of Scotland’s leading suppliers of quality natural stone.

As a dedicated team, we collectively ensure that only the very best stone is delivered and that the highest standard of quality and attention is paid to every order that goes through our processes.
From our base in rural Angus, Denfind Stone has developed an operation to produce excellent building materials that leave as small an environmental footprint as possible.
We are passionate about the geological heritage of our stone, and by developing products that were four hundred million years in the making, we play our part in ensuring that this traditional industry thrives in the world of modern architecture and building.
Our Denfind Stone products are quarried and processed to the highest standards on site here in Angus.
We work closely with a network of Scottish stone quarries and companies to source an extensive range of natural products which we carefully select and shape to meet individual needs.
